We start from Thuvina Village (near Sankoo , Kargil) , explore Suru Valley and drive though a freshly laid NH301 towards Purtikchey, Panikhar , Rangdum and the Gateway to Zanskar – Pensi La. We are awestruck by Parkachik and Drang Drung Glaciers and the white snow covered white vistas all around us , finally reaching Padum. But instead of stopping we continue further to Purne on the famous – Nimmu Padum Darcha (NPD) Road ! #SuruValley #Zanskar #DrangDrungGlacier #Padum #KargiltoPadum Today we cover an unforgettable 265 Kms in our Jimny , starting from Suru Valley , climbing the Penzi La Pass (known as the Gateway to Zanskar) and travelling on freshly laid NH 301 (Kargil to Padum Highway) over jaw dropping snow white landscapes and almost touching the mighty Drang Drung glacier near Penzi La Pass . After reaching Padum , we continue on towards the hamlet of Purne on the famous Nimmu Padum Darcha (NPD) Road !
