Cuppa, Catch Up & Cards ~ What is Ancestor Work?

Join me every Saturday night at 7:00pm, UK time for Cuppa, Catch Up & Cards at The Hermit’s Cave! Bring your favourite drink and get comfy as we explore the world of tarot and divination. Each week is a little different; sometimes I’ll showcase new decks, respond to tags, chat with guests, or just hang out and share stories about tarot. I’ll answer your questions too! It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to connect, share stories, and enjoy the magic of the cards together. This week - Ancestral work — what it is, how to approach it with reverence, and ways to build a meaningful connection with those who walked before us. We’ll talk about creating a sacred space, choosing candles and offerings, and writing your own ancestral ritual. I’ll also be sharing how to incorporate tarot into ancestral practice, from simple message draws to deeper spreads for healing and lineage insight. Together, we’ll look at decks that lend themselves beautifully to this kind of work, from earthy and nature-based imagery to decks that honour spirit, memory, and tradition. Whether you’re new to ancestral devotion or deepening your practice, this session will offer inspiration, reflection, and gentle guidance for working between worlds with integrity and heart.
