foraging winkles beach cook up with family north Yorkshire coast

hi everyone hope your all well had a great day out at sandsend with the family absolutely beautiful day for it. we walked by the cliffs and searched the rock pools for winkles there was loads today normally they are further out. but managed to get quite a few the kids loved it collecting them. we didn't go to close to the cliffs because they drop rocks sometimes especially the amount of rain we've had in the UK. so bucket half full we headed back to beach to get fire going in euro hike fire pit. waited for the water to boil then dropped the winkles in and got the kettle on the pan and kettle are fire maple they nest to gether the winkles were beautiful straight from the sea and cooked on the beach. the kids cooked marshmallows over the fire then dipped in chocolate. we sat there for a bit drinking our coffee then the tide started coming in. so headed back to car just as it started to rain. nowt like spending quality time with family we had a great time and so did the kids they really enjoyed it. if you like the video please subscribe and thanks for watching @shaunsadventures #outdoors #nature #views #cooking #foraging #winklepicking #cookingwinkles #wellbeing #familytime #thingstodo #seaside #cookingoutdoors #wildfood #yorkshirecoast #qualitytime #waterfall #firemaple #firelighting #eurohikefirepit #cliffs #goodtimes #familydaysout
