One by one, blue lights appear between the branches, drifting through the ruins like travelers following a path only they can see. Soon, the scattered lights begin to move together. They pass silently beneath moss-covered arches, cross the old waterways and gather throughout the sanctuary. There are no footsteps, no voices, and no celebration as people would know it—only countless lights moving quietly through the night. A traveler follows them across a moonlit stone bridge. Beyond it, the forgotten sanctuary seems to awaken. Blue light fills the ancient ruins, flowers glow beside the water, and reflections shimmer beneath the trees until the entire sanctuary becomes part of their silent festival. For a while, the traveler simply remains among the lights. Some drift close before rising again toward the ruins, while a thousand more appear upon the water below. The moon and spirit lights shine overhead. Below, another night sky seems to exist upon the water. Little by little, the boundary between sky and reflection begins to disappear. The spirit lights gather around the traveler as well, passing quietly nearby before drifting toward the water and rising once more among the ancient ruins. Yet there is no sense of danger. Instead, there is a quiet warmth, as though the sanctuary itself has welcomed the traveler into this mysterious night. Flowing water. Flowers moving in the night breeze. Ancient stones beneath the moonlight. And spirit lights drifting endlessly through the sanctuary. As the hours pass, the outside world begins to feel farther away. The traveler sits beside the water and opens a journal, quietly writing beneath the moonlight so that this night will not be forgotten. Still, the spirit lights continue to glow.
