The Fall season is in full swing and we're getting our annual two weeks of great weather. The hills of northern New Jersey and southern New York are aflame with color, so hop on and enjoy the growl of the 888cc Triumph T-Plane Triple. Today we're looping Greenwood Lake, a seven mile-long body of water that straddles the line between the two states. The lake was expanded twice by dams built near its southern end, the first time to provide power to the iron works at Long Pond, and the second to supply water to the short-lived Morris Canal. The town of Greenwood Lake, a former iron-working center settled in 1700, clings to its northern tip. It's a great day for a scenic ride through historic countryside!
