Welcome to WEEK 1 of our build series for this 2018 Ford Transit! If you didn't catch last week's video, let's bring you up to speed: just over a week ago, we said our goodbyes to the west coast (for now) and headed back to our home state of Arizona to complete a van conversion for a client. This week, we showed you where to get started on a DIY van conversion, including subfloor, insulation, furring strips, and running wiring for you van's electrical system. If you want to follow along the progress of this van build, make sure to subscribe and turn your notifications on so you don't miss a video! We'll be bringing you weekly updates and lots of good information to hopefully help you with your own van conversion if you have one in the works! Thanks for watching, catch you next week! -K & J ------------------------------------------------ Materials: 1x3 furring strips self drilling screws: https://tinyurl.com/y3kms7c9 5/8 in sheathing ply 2x3 and 1x3 floor supports 1 in polyiso insulation board Gorilla construction adhesive denim insulation Wire: 12v appliances - 16 awg 2 strand 12v switches - 18 awg 3 strand fridge - 10 awg 2 strand outlets - romex ------------------------------------------------- THANK YOU TO OUR PATRONS: Wendy Weaver Emily Yang Sherral Smith Support us on Patreon:   / kensieandjoey   WEBSITE: https://www.kensieandjoey.com ✺Find Us On Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kensieandjo... ✺For a comprehensive list of what we used in our own van, go to https://www.kensieandjoey.com/vanlife/ ✺Camera Gear: Vlogging Camera: https://amzn.to/2WzAyUJ Tripod: https://amzn.to/2MN47xl Action Camera: https://amzn.to/2IaVBb9 Drone: https://amzn.to/2IbPvrh ✺Who are we?
