I Tried Gold Paint On A Gasser..

Today we’re building a full-on Chevy Nova wagon gasser called Fool’s Gold 😄 For this project I wanted to combine classic Redline-style Spectra Flame paint with old-school drag wagon vibes to create something that looks like a premium Hot Wheels Redline Club release… except way weirder. We started by stripping and zinc plating the body the old-school way, polishing everything to a mirror finish, laying down deep gold Spectra Flame candy paint, and then breaking it all up with pearl white two-tone sections and hand-taped gold roof stripes. After that came the best part: absolute decal chaos 😄 Vintage sponsor logos, random water companies, weird racing decals, tailgate graphics… basically just vibing until the car started feeling alive. Honestly, this thing turned out exactly how I hoped. Tiny flashy drag wagon energy with just enough nonsense sprinkled in to make it feel fun.
