GOLDCREST HIGH SCHOOL VASHI 2022 ANNUAL DAY | THE STORY OF HAREKALA HAJABBA 📚❤️ | DREAM OF EDUCATION

GOLDCREST HIGH SCHOOL VASHI 2022 ANNUAL DAY | THE STORY OF HAREKALA HAJABBA 📚❤️ | DREAM OF EDUCATION | PART 06 | AKASHDEEP SHARMA One man who never got the opportunity to study decided to make sure the children of his village could. ❤️📚 This is Part 6 of the Gold Crest School, Vashi Annual Day performance series, dedicated to the inspiring story of Harekala Hajabba – the “Akshara Santa” (Saint of Letters). Harekala Hajabba was an orange seller from Karnataka who could not receive a formal education himself. An incident where he could not understand a question asked by foreign visitors made him realise how important education was. He decided that the children of his village should not face the same difficulties. His journey towards building a school began in the 1990s. The first classes were started in a building connected to the local mosque, and with his savings, determination, support from the community and help from others, the dream eventually grew into a proper government school. The school later expanded to provide education up to Class 10. 📚❤️ Hajabba’s story is not just about building a school. It is about turning personal hardship into a reason to create opportunities for others. This choreography was created as a tribute to his incredible contribution towards education and his belief that every child deserves the chance to study. 🏫 School: Gold Crest School, Vashi 💃 Choreography: AkashDeep Sharma Dance 📖 Theme: Harekala Hajabba – The Dream of Education This is the 6th choreography out of 8 different performances choreographed for Gold Crest School, Vashi.
