GOODS TRAIN DAY at Chasewater Railway:

While most seemed to be heading for a certain 'Premier Line' for a BIG deisel gala, I chose this one day event at Chasewater. Three loco's rotating between the regular passenger service and two goods wagon sets (Or consists if you must) and decent weather made for an enjoyable day in this lovely area..... They were..... D3211 'Myfanwy' (The yellow one). D2910 (The green one). 750 'Waleswood' (The black steamy one). The 'Colliery Line' for the uninitiated, is located in the Chasewater Country Park just off the A5 near Brownhills in South Staffordshire. There are full facilities ie, cafes, tiolets, shops & more at each end of the line and very nice volunteers who will always make you welcome.
