HLFT-42 new Design ने मचा दिया धमाल - HLFT-42 transformed into new Fighter Trainer HAL’s New HLFT-42: A Blend of Tejas, HF-24 Marut and F/A-18 Hornet? 🇮🇳✈️ Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has unveiled a significantly revised HLFT-42 lead-in fighter trainer design concept, featuring design elements reminiscent of the Tejas Mk1A, Tejas Mk2, the historic HF-24 Marut, and the American F/A-18 Hornet. According to reports, the proposed aircraft features a redesigned air intake layout, a longer fuselage, modified wings and a reshaped tail section. The design is intended to address the Indian Air Force’s Stage-III trainer aircraft requirements. The reported specifications suggest a length of approximately 16.4 metres, a wingspan of 9 metres and a height of 4.7 metres. HAL is also reportedly planning to showcase a 1:6 scale model at Aero India 2027. Will HLFT-42 become an important step in India’s indigenous aerospace journey? Watch the full video to explore its design, expected specifications and potential significance for the Indian Air Force.
