Here's the full bootleg of Beck's concert at Supper Club in New York, New York on August 27, 1996. The audio quality is great with good but not overpowering crowd energy. Though you can hear some fairly regular heckling here and there, Beck definitely won the crowd over by the end. Interestingly, this is Beck's first concert in New York since his Lollapalooza performance the year before which, by all reports, had a very tough crowd who practically kicked Beck off the stage by throwing mud, bottles, and any other available projectiles. Beck tells a story during "Asshole" about a recent concert review of his where he was called a "manchild", so he replaces the word "asshole" with "manchild" in his performance of the song. Beck mentioned this during his previous concert in Rhode Island and would make the same reference a few more times in the following concerts. Beck and the band would play the same venue the next night, both concerts with Cibo Matto as opener.
