Hey everyone! I'm back with another full scene art piece! I hadn't drawn Albus in a hot minute, so I decided that I would create more art to add to his little growing collection. I felt like drawing a winged creature and I was going to initially draw a dragon but I decided against it and drew this guy instead, also because he fits the spooky theme of October as well. I did play around with layer filters with this one as well as some rendering techniques and shadows. I did learn that I need some more practice with backgrounds though, but this one doesn't look too bad. Continuation of Albuses lore! Several years prior to Albuses existence, there was a prophecy passed down from centuries ago about his forthcoming. It stated that the after the sky turned black and the sun disappeared (referring to a solar eclipse), a winged White Spirit shall rise on a full moon. He shall battle the growing darkness and restore light to the world. Most dismissed this prophecy as this was not possible because their species hardly had any white winged nixlets and, if they ever did, they were killed before they even had a chance to catch a glimpse of the moon. Plus, there was no impending danger in their present and everyone believed it to just be fake nonsense. Words from a crazy old Aethonix not worth paying attention to.. Jumping into the future, the sun had disappeared, the sky turning completely black. The prophecy had come true. The moon revealed itself in a sky full of darkness; a perfect sphere suspended in mid-air. Albus, all battered and bruised from years of abandonment and abuse, rose. Somehow he knew that he must soar into the sky. With his back against the moon and his eyes set straight ahead, he gazed upon the land, all of his kind backing away in fear. He felt a sudden sense of power tingle through his veins. He couldn't understand it, but for the first time, he didn't feal weak or unwanted. That's all I have for today. I hope you all enjoyed that little snippet of a story! If anyone ever wanted to learn a bit about his species and his childhood, I'd reccomend checking out this video if you haven't already!    • Childhood trauma || SPEEDPAINT   Anyway, have a good rest of your weekends!! ------- » Time: 2 hours & 20 minutes » Program used: Krita (app) » Tools: Desktop computer, keyboard, Wacom tablet and pen
