A few weeks back, myself and 5 others, Chris Opie, Jon Henry, Tom Round, James Hadfield & Lewis Hull, took on the 1st of two races (Elevation Gain 7th May & Distance 8th Oct) of the 28 Hour Project 2022 and this is how it panned out. The 28 Hour Project is an Ultra Endurance bike race, where competitors compete at the same time anywhere in the world, to rack up the greatest elevation gain (or distance) over a 28 hour period. We rode it as a relay of 6 riders, while others set out solo or in pairs. To find out more and sign up to the distance race in October click here - https://www.t28p.com/ultra-cycling We ran the relay in 1 hour stints for 24 hours, with the final 4 hours all riding together with our average elevation adding to our total of 20,192m elevation gain. Enjoy! Kit: Specialized Tarmac SL6 Sport (2019) ALT.
