What If The Persian Immortals Fought The Knights Templar?

What If The Persian Immortals Fought The Knights Templar? In this alternate history battle, the Persian Immortals of Xerxes are transported from 480 BC into the world of the Crusades in 1099. When nearly 10,000 elite Persian soldiers suddenly appear near Jerusalem, they come face to face with the Knights Templar, one of the most feared military forces of medieval Europe. What begins as a strange encounter between two armies becomes a war between two civilizations separated by more than sixteen centuries. The Persian Immortals bring disciplined infantry, wicker shields, recurve bows, Persian cavalry, and the battlefield tactics of the Achaemenid Persian Empire. The Knights Templar counter with heavily armored knights, crossbowmen, fortified castles, and medieval cavalry tactics. As both armies adapt to each other's weapons and strategies, a battle of deception, siege warfare, cavalry charges, and battlefield tactics unfolds across the Holy Land.
