1957, 1958, 1959 Buick Drum Speedometer Bush Fix

I made this video specifically for a friend of mine who asked me about doing this repair to his speedometer. I thought I would share it with everyone, since nearly every 57-59 I come across has this problem. There are times when it gets so bad that the speedometer cable is broken off at the speedo as a result...so you will have to replace the cable to complete the repair. Many times after this repair, the calibration is not correct anymore due to the spacing between the drum and magnet. So be aware of your speed with a GPS app to get your bearings on where yours reads after it's been put back together.
