PSALMS of GRATITUDE UPON WAKING | Sung Psalms to Thank God for the Day Itself #psalms

"Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits." "Loadeth" is a working word. It is the verb for loading a pack animal — the same picture as a burden strapped onto a donkey's back before the day's journey. Except in this psalm, what God straps on is not a weight but benefits. And He does it daily: the load is put on fresh each morning, before you have taken a step. That is what this album is about. Not gratitude for what the day might bring later, but for what is already on your back the moment you wake — breath handed back, a soul held in life, a day prepared before you stepped into it. 15 sung psalms in ancient Hebrew Christian style — waking because the Lord sustained me, help at the turning of the morning, the light we see by, the portion measured out by a kind hand, and thanks that does not stop after the first time. ✨ What This Album Will Do For You: → Turn your first minutes of the day into thanks → Carry an hour and a half of your morning with the goodness of God → Close with thanks that keeps going: seven times a day do I praise thee If you need psalms for peace, healing, protection, or strength, check the playlists on my channel. This album is for the soul that wants to wake up grateful. 🎵 TRACKLIST — PSALMS OF GRATITUDE UPON WAKING 00:00 - I Awaked, For The Lord Sustained Me (Psalm 3) 05:38 - He Holdeth Our Soul In Life (Psalm 66) 11:07 - When I Awake (Psalm 17) 17:16 - And That Right Early (Psalm 46) 23:11 - I Will Sing Aloud Of Thy Mercy In The Morning (Psalm 59) 28:30 - The Day Is Thine (Psalm 74) 33:57 - As A Strong Man To Run A Race (Psalm 19) 39:20 - In Thy Light Shall We See Light (Psalm 36) 44:38 - Who Daily Loadeth Us With Benefits (Psalm 68) 50:05 - The Lines Are Fallen In Pleasant Places (Psalm 16) 55:08 - Thy Name Is Near (Psalm 75) 1:00:59 - Offer Unto God Thanksgiving (Psalm 50) 1:06:20 - And I Am Helped (Psalm 28) 1:11:56 - Man Goeth Forth Unto His Work (Psalm 104) 1:17:18 - Seven Times A Day (Psalm 119) 🙏 Prayer of gratitude upon waking: Lord, thank You for waking me today and for the breath You handed back.
