As an Iranian who has witnessed protests, riots, and unrest firsthand, watching the demonstrations and street violence across Europe—particularly in France—raises important questions about media narrative, political rhetoric, and double standards.
When unrest erupts in Iran or the Middle East, Western leaders and media outlets often frame it in a very specific way. But when similar scenes of clashes, property damage, and unrest happen on the streets of Europe, the language shifts completely.
In this unscripted video, I share my honest thoughts and personal reflections on:
How Western media frames protests at home vs. abroad
The fine line between public protest and destructive rioting
The double standards of international political reactions
Why local context, culture, and lived experience matter before passing judgment
