Buffalo River- Pruitt to Hasty- Low Water- May 2023

The Buffalo River, Ponca Arkansas. Pruitt- Hasty float with Low Water conditions.- We used Lost Valley Canoe for our kayak shuttle, and they deserve 5 stars! The takeout at Hasty is not for the weak, be prepared to carry your kayaks up to a small parking lot full of outfitters.The river is low, and a lot more paddling was required. We endured extreme fog, and cool temps, to a warm and humid 80+ degrees. Buffalo Outdoor Center campground had a beautiful view, but be prepared for the fog, and wind.
