Mom at 50 | Baby’s Fall Closet Refresh, Sushi Date Night & a Disco Birthday Party!

I’m a 50-year-old first-time mom, and life these days looks a lot different than I ever imagined. This week I’m giving Baylor’s nursery a fall refresh and going through her closet as she grows out of her baby clothes and into her next season. There are lots of sweet little baby moments along the way, plus a peek at our two dogs, our husky and Cavapoo. We also sneak away for a sushi date night before celebrating my husband’s birthday with an amazing disco dance party at home. I made a big charcuterie spread, we brought in some seriously good BBQ, and the whole night turned into one of those evenings you wish you could bottle up and keep forever.
