GRIZZLY Encounter in Banff — Solo Road Trip Through the Rockies

Day 5 of my solo Montreal to Alaska road trip took me straight through Banff and Jasper National Park — and it was wild. I drove 45+ minutes with zero cell signal, passed through a wildfire-scarred forest, saw elk right off the highway, and crossed paths with a grizzly bear. The turquoise lakes and snow-capped peaks in the middle of June were unreal — genuinely rivals Kashmir and Ladakh. By sunset I'd crossed the Alberta–BC border, heading toward Fort St. John for the night.
