POV: Just Driving Around Orange County 🚗 | Artesia to Orange

No special agenda—just another day of driving around Orange County and enjoying the journey. A little interesting fact about Artesia: the city got its name from the artesian wells that were once common in the area. Those wells helped make the land ideal for farming. In the 1920s and 1930s, Portuguese and Dutch farmers helped turn Artesia into one of Southern California’s important dairy districts. Today, Artesia is especially known for its diverse community and vibrant dining scene, particularly along Pioneer Boulevard. It’s pretty amazing how much the character of a place can change over time—from farms and dairy cows to a multicultural Southern California community. Whatever the reasons for the drive, it was just nice to be out on the road and cruise around Orange County. Sometimes, you don't need a destination.
