Stop the Cavalry - Band of the Royal Logistics Corps

Now my memory isn't what it used to be but long term is ok - I can remember a German Band playing this long before Jona Lewie released his record - anyone know the original? I now have a Paul Horbiger recording from the 1930s when the orchestra play a few bars of the tune. (Das macht die Liebe mit James Kok 1934)
