24 years of today's United States Strategic Command

October 1st marks 24 years of today's United States Strategic Command. Over 40,000 Joint Force warfighters strong, we honor our heritage and the legends before us who established this bedrock of national defense, delivering 80 years of continuous nuclear combat power generation. Now and onward, #USSTRATCOM's global #CombatReadyForce embodies the warrior ethos - credible, capable and #AlwaysReady to defend the homeland, guaranteeing the security of the nation and our allies. #PeaceIsOurProfession, and we deliver that #PeaceThroughStrength.
