Amateur CGA Contest 3 (1991, Project Team DoGA)

Presented by Project Team DoGA and subbed into English by OSMO Subs. This collection of amateur CGA (Computer Graphic Animation) shorts highlights the best entries into DoGA's 3rd annual animation contest. Independent animators from all over Japan were invited to submit their work for the chance at winning cash prizes and eyes on their work. These contests primarily served to promote the use of computer graphics in animation. I have subtitled this collection into English to the best of my ability, without the use of AI tools. It is my hope that this will allow a wider audience to view and appreciate both the works themselves, and the foundational steps in computer animation that they represent. Thank you. Further translations of DoGA contests forthcoming. 00:00:09 Disclaimer and intro 00:02:23 Prince's Happiness 00:05:47 Heart 00:10:35 DESPERADO 00:13:02 Magic Lamp 00:17:09 Baby Bird's Breakfast 00:19:00 It could happen to you! 00:21:55 TORNADO 00:24:01 Swingset 00:33:55 Geppy Robo 00:37:05 Good Morning, Mr. Hat Shop 00:40:05 Connection '90 00:41:47 Origin 00:49:56 CLOCK 00:57:21 SWORD 01:02:01 Festival Lamp 01:03:51 Letter 01:07:50 CGA Introduction Course 01:16:28 Meet the Judges 01:17:32 Credits #animation #anime #retro #cgi #cga #japanese #translation
