An Extraordinary Day of Bear and Whale Photography

When my friend Sylvain asked if I wanted to join him on a grizzly bear photography tour, I jumped at the opportunity. We couldn't have asked for better weather, and the boat ride to and from the bear-viewing area was an adventure in itself, with plenty of marine life along the way, including orcas and humpback whales. Once in the bear zone, the First Nations viewing platforms and blinds provided a safe, unobstructed vantage point to watch the grizzlies as they went about their daily lives. It was an incredible opportunity to observe and photograph these magnificent animals in their natural habitat.
