Joan Lunden Behind Closed Doors: Ciruqe du Soleil

Joan goes behind the scenes of another high flying act, Cirque Du Soleil, in its most lavish and expensive production ever, "O," playing permanently at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Cirques du Soleil is among the largest theatrical stage productions in existence and is renowned for having reinvented the circus. Giving viewers a front row seat to the hottest ticket in Las Vegas, Joan gains an unprecedented access in a never-before-seen backstage look into the inner workings of "O." After following Joan's aerial training with the international team members, the segment shows her performing with the troupe as it appears to literally walk on water over a 1.5 million gallon pool of water serving as the stage. Joan joins the aerial acrobats who also perform amazing moves along a network of parallel bars on a stunning "ghost" ship that swings three stories above the giant pool. The team ends their show with sensational dives.
