Sammy, Alto & Shirley At My Patio Door, 3 Released Squirrels. July 1 2025

This is Sammy, Shirley and Alto, 3 rescued and released fox squirrels. they have been on their own for over 3 weeks now. I typically see them all every day. They are currently all hanging out together. I am trying to feed them once a day in the afternoons. Shirley took the first nut I gave her, a walnut, and buried it. This is a really good sign! She is finding other food, and wants to save nuts for winter.
