7 Inmates Too Dangerous for Any Other Prison

Deep inside Colorado sits ADX Florence, America's most secure federal prison, built after a deadly prison attack in 1983. This video follows seven inmates whose stories reveal what life inside the “Alcatraz of the Rockies” is really like. From spies and gang leaders to violent prisoners and a man who eventually walked free, each story exposes a different side of extreme isolation. Twenty-three hours a day behind concrete walls, four-inch windows, and layers of steel, ADX was designed to make escape and communication almost impossible. These are the seven men whose lives became part of the history, purpose, and mystery of ADX Florence.
