What is Power? | Work Done Per Unit Time | Class 11 Physics KPK Board In this lecture we will discuss Power from Chapter 4 Work and Energy. Definition: Power is defined as work done per unit time. OR Power is rate of transfer of energy. Formula: P = W / t P = Energy / Time If work is done by force F and velocity v, then P = F . v Units: SI Unit = Watt (W) 1 Watt = 1 Joule / second 1 kW = 1000 Watt 1 MW = 1000 kW 1 Horse Power = 746 Watt Types of Power 1. Average Power = Total Work / Total Time 2. Instantaneous Power This lecture is for Class 11 Physics KPK Board (BISE Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Kohat, Bannu, Malakand, Dera Ismail Khan) Watch Full Playlist Class 11 Physics Chapter 4 Work and Energy → [Paste your playlist link here] Next Lecture: Types of Energy PDF Notes: Comment "Power PDF" #Class11Physics #Power #KPKBoard #WorkAndEnergy #PhysicsKPK #BISEPeshawar #FScPhysics #SmartLearningWithNajeeb #WorkDonePerUnitTime #RateOfTransferOfEnergy
