Title: Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 1 Composer: Julius Conus (1869–1942) Performer: Nadia Karpenko (2026) Collaborative Pianist: Bogum Park ──────────────────────── After working on it for the better part of a year, I performed the full Conus Concerto for the first time earlier this year during violin studio class at the University of Michigan. Although some say it is a predictable piece, I still fell in love with how the feistiness present in the fast parts contrasted the romance present in the slow parts.
