“That Girl Could Sing” by Jackson Browne (cover song)

“That Girl Could Sing” by Jackson Browne From his 1980 album “Hold Out”. It’s been rumored that Browne wrote the song about either Laura Nyro whom he dated in the early 70’s or his friend and touring companion Linda Ronstadt. Most believe that it was inspired by Browne’s backup singer Valerie Carter. After her death in March 2017, Browne formally acknowledged Carter as the subject of this song in April of that year. #jacksonbrowne #thatgirlcouldsing #martinguitar #martind18 #fingerstyleguitar #acousticcover #acousticcovers #coversong #coversongs
