There, Shakuni follows him with his soldiers. Madan informs Adhirath that before Karn can save his life, he will take his revenge and kill him. Shakuni follows in Karn's direction but the soldiers run away from there fearing death. Meanwhile, due to a thunderstorm, when a tree falls on an old man, Karn and Shakuni hear his call for help. Though Karn says that they should go there and help the man, Shakuni refuses. Karn then moves towards the pleading man. On the other hand, King Dhritarastra tells Gandhari that he will disown her the next morning, if Vyas fails to arrive. This makes Gandhari tensed. Meanwhile, Karn manages to pick the fallen tree and throw it aside, saving the man. Upon being asked about his purpose of coming there in the forest, Karn replies that he is looking for Rishi Vyas. Will this man lead Karn in the right direction?
