Belle (Kirsten Storms) and Shawn (Jason Cook) bring Dawn from Habitat for Humanity to meet Maureen and Mimi (Farah Fath) about the new house, and Shawn has another surprise up his sleeve when he brings in Mimi’s dad, Dave. Victor (John Aniston) meets with Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) at Titan and reveals he hired someone to follow Sami (Alison Sweeney), who is leaving for Italy today with Brandon (Matt Cedeño). When Victor brings up Kate’s relationship with Nicholas (Victor Webster), Lucas fires back that Kate caught Victor in bed with Vivian (Louise Sorel). Victor then offers to take Kate to Italy to figure out their future and asks Lucas to bring Will (Shawn and Taylor Carpenter), but not Nicole (Arianne Zucker). Nicole runs from Eric (Jensen Ackles) at Salem Place and is nearly hit by Brandon’s speeding car. Brandon and Sami continue on to the airport, where they both realize someone is following them, leaving them to wonder who could be watching. Back at Eric’s place, Nicole is ashamed after confessing that Kate paid her five million dollars to marry Lucas, though she still compliments Lucas as a father. She is relieved when her doctor calls to say she doesn’t have cancer, just a treatable liver ailment, but she leads Eric to believe she is dying and asks him to make love to her one last time.
