২ লাখ কোটির মেগা প্রজেক্ট! ১৩ কিলোমিটার পাতালপথে ছুটবে স্বপ্নের মেট্রো! | Metro Rail | Mega Project | Ekushey TV ঢাকার ব্যস্ত সড়কে প্রতিদিন লাখো মানুষের দীর্ঘ অপেক্ষা, যানজট আর কর্মঘণ্টা নষ্ট হওয়ার চিত্র বদলে দেওয়ার লক্ষ্যেই এগোচ্ছে দেশের গণপরিবহনের বড় কয়েকটি প্রকল্প। একদিকে রাজধানীর বিভিন্ন প্রান্তকে যুক্ত করবে তিনটি মেট্রোরেল রুট, অন্যদিকে নারায়ণগঞ্জ-ঢাকা-জয়দেবপুর করিডোরে প্রথমবারের মতো চালু হবে বৈদ্যুতিক ট্রেন। সব মিলিয়ে একনেকে অনুমোদন পাওয়া এসব প্রকল্পকে ঘিরে ঢাকার যোগাযোগব্যবস্থায় তৈরি হচ্ছে নতুন সম্ভাবনা। বুধবার সচিবালয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রী এবং একনেক চেয়ারপারসন তারেক রহমানের সভাপতিত্বে একনেক সভায় এসব প্রকল্প অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়। Several major public transport projects are moving forward with the aim of transforming the daily scenario of long waits, traffic congestion, and lost working hours faced by hundreds of thousands of people on Dhaka's busy roads. On one hand, three metro rail routes will connect various parts of the capital, while on the other, electric trains will be introduced for the first time on the Narayanganj-Dhaka-Joydebpur corridor. Collectively, these projects—approved by ECNEC—are creating new possibilities for Dhaka's transportation system.
