Countdown - An Epic Ending to an Epic Series 93 (26 June 2026)

Series 93 of Countdown has been one for the books with many records, including: 1) Having three Octochamps score 900 points and above for the Preliminaries, something which has not happened since Series 69 in 2013 2) Having two players, Patrick Thompson and Charlie Harrison, to solve all ten of their conundrums to get to this point and all of them were solved in under five seconds each (Eight Preliminaries + Quarter-Final + Semi-Final) (You may watch Charlie's Preliminary solves via his YouTube channel if you have not come across it yet:    • 8 Countdown Conundrums in 15 Seconds  ) 3) Two Finalists to go into the Grand Final, each with at least 1200 points Watch how the Grand Final of this Series ended here and added more records, including: 1) The highest cumulative scored produced by two contestants, beating the record by two points which was held previously by Zarte Siempre and Tom Carey in the Championship of Champions XV back on 17 January 2019 2) The highest losing score of 127 for any single match in the show's 43.5 year history, breaking the record held previously by Andy Platt in the Championship of Champions XIV back on 15 January 2016 3) The seventh maximum game in the current 15-round format
