Atreyos was leading his army in an attack on Magikill's forces when they were ambushed by a group of Swordwrath counter Three days prior, the Swordwrath Commander had dispatched a warrior—acting under Magikill's orders—to defeat Atreyos's army; however, the mission failed, and Atreyos was the sole survivor. Magikill, who had coveted Atreyos's head, was enraged by this failure; his anger intensified upon realizing that the power he had previously bestowed upon the warrior had been lost.
