New Össur Navii Knee Prosthetic - 2 Day fitting at Medical Center Orthotics & Prosthetics

A video from back in April in which I received a new prosthetic up in Silver Spring , MD. I had been on the c leg 4 and my prosthetist suggested the Őssur Navii knee. I get a new prosthetic every 5 years as they break down over use. Thankfully, I have insurance and the payment is manageable. They used a Hawaiian shirt to create the design on my socket. My new socket is a bit slimmer and flatter on the bottom for femur weight bearing. Also, a pad for sitting and so I don’t rip my khakis. Thanks so much to my prosthetist, Ian. He is a real life super hero. Thanks to my dad for driving and videography. Overall, I’ve been in the leg 5 months and it’s similar to the c leg 4 by Ottobock. I plan to do an updated video.
