God Opposes the Proud

Habakkuk gives us a striking illustration about how to deal with evil in our time. Whether the evil is a nation-wide or world-wide evil that affects us, or something which we are personally going through, there is guidance about how to not simply survive, but actually grow, in difficult times. The danger one can fall into is that of pride. In Habakkuk 2:5-20, we see God's attitude toward pride and the encouragement we have as followers of Jesus.
