Insight from Industry Professionals; A Deeper Look Into an ICF Pour Day

In this video we take a deeper look at one of our ICF pour days. We take the time to show how we performed a monolithic pour (pouring the footers and wall at the same time so we can eliminate the cold break in your home) on a 30 ft. tall wall and give some details on what we do to ensure a smooth pour. You will also see footage of our brick ledge, a specific design we use here at ICF Walls of the Ozarks to ensure we can still perform a mono-pour while allowing homeowners to have the exterior finish they want. While waiting for our footer to set, we took the time to talk with some industry professionals who were on site; John Martin with Rost Concrete Pumping and Justin Frese, an instructor of Construction Technologies at OTC here in Springfield, MO. It was great to hear from two different sides of the profession; one from the field, and one from the classroom, on their opinions of ICF and how far it has come and how far it will go.
