Stargate Atlantis - John and Elizabeth - A Thousand Years

Just imagine to spend thousands of years waiting for someone to finally arrive. This is a blend of the Ancients leaving Atlantis and the expedition arriving. I found the mirroring storylines fascinating. Elizabeth traveling back in time and then spending thousands of years keeping the city going for herself, John and the rest of the expedition only to die in their presence. Then John gives his life for the city and almost at death's door he receives the ultimate gift. Even the final kiss is somehow connected to two people defying time.
