Fly Fishing for Native Mahseer in Taiwan - 花蓮飛釣

My name is Grey, an American living in Taiwan. Stand by me as I hunt for Taiwan's native Mahseer in and out of their native range during Taiwan's rainy season. These fish chase dry flies as if they are big juicy steaks, but only if you can sneak up on them and present the fly properly. These are truly gorgeous and wild waters that even I explored for the first time. In these three days, I would take the train to rural villages, ride my folding bike to even deeper villages, and hopefully catch the monster fish that reside in them. Oh, and I tried recording it all in Chinese. I hope you enjoy my first film, and I am excited to release more videos like this, next time with even greater fish.
