This relaxing watercolor animation with gentle original music explores one of the most personal questions in Seth Speaks and the Seth Material of Jane Roberts:
Will I still be me?
In Seth’s teaching, personality is not destroyed or lost within the greater soul. Your individuality continues.
Seth explains that the personality you know is one aspect of the soul and one manifestation of your own greater identity. Personality constantly changes and develops, yet it is not erased, swallowed up, or subjugated by the soul.
Through Seth’s discussion of personality, individuality, identity, consciousness, I-am-ness, the inner self, the greater self, and the nature of the soul, this song explores a simple but powerful idea:
You can become more without ceasing to be yourself.
This song is inspired especially by:
Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul — Jane Roberts
Chapter 6: “The Soul and the Nature of Its Perception”
Sessions 526–529
Through my original Seth watercolor painting, watercolor animation, and gentle original music, I wanted to make these ideas about personality, individuality, consciousness, identity, and the greater self easier to understand and experience in a quiet, reflective way.
Seth also uses the unusual term “I-am-ness” while describing a larger identity that can interweave with other fields of consciousness without losing its own individuality.
This song is my creative interpretation inspired by Seth Speaks and the Seth Material of Jane Roberts, rather than a direct quotation of Seth’s words.
The question this leaves us with is:
If becoming more does not mean losing who you are, how much greater might your identity really be? ❤️
