Quran Quest Bitesize Tafsir of Surah Baqara Aya 58-59

Tafsir Suratul Baqara (Using Ibn Kathir & Maariful Quran) Deep study of Surah Al-Baqarah, ayahs 58-59, focusing on Bani Israail's tests during the period of the prophethood of Moses Exploring principles of humility, gratitude, and obedience when receiving Allah's blessings Preparing for Dhul Hijjah with lessons on seeking forgiveness and excellence (Ihsan) in worship Dr. Amina and Dr. Siyana hosted their QuranQuest Bite Size session focused on Surah Al-Baqarah ayahs 58 and 59, which teach important lessons about gratitude, humility, and the consequences of defiance. They discussed how the Israelites were commanded to enter the Holy Land with humility and seek forgiveness, but instead defiantly changed the words of the command, leading to a plague from heaven as punishment. The sisters explored key concepts including fisq (rebelliousness), the importance of performing actions with excellence (ihsan), and how these lessons apply to modern life situations. They emphasized the need to enter blessings with gratitude rather than pride, guard prescribed words from the Sunnah, and strive for the muhsinin (prophet-like) standard in worship. The session concluded with an announcement about a new Dhul Hijjah program launching on their Skool platform, offering nearly 30 sessions on morning and evening du'as with an 80% discount for participants.Join our groups for reflections and announcements....
