Taken on 04:05:2025. On the morning of April 5th, 2025. I would catch word that CSXT #1836 was leading E410 solo after having to deal with the previous lead engine having a problem and needed to be taken off, and I would make plans to try and catch him at Brunswick, MD which I would arrive shortly before E410 got around noon. Shortly after, I would make a brief down the C&O canal bike path to check out the Brunswick deadline, getting shots of various locomotives being stored there and awaiting their fate, including a rare SD60M, and MP15AC. Not long after checking out the deadline, Amtrak #41 the Floridian to Miami, FL would come highballing down main-2 heading Eastbound to Rockville, MD with a Phase VII P42 leading. About an hour later, M406-04 trash loads from Rocky Mount, NC to Cumberland, MD came running up main-2 with SD70AC #4717 leading. *M406 was also recently abolished with T010 taking its place.* A while later around 3pm CSX I135-05 would run through Brunswick with a double digit CW44AC in YN3C paint. I would also receive word from @R‪@RailroadScientist8768‬hat CSX M408-03 would have an SD60M dead in tow on her last run bound for K&K recycling for scrapping. It would be a while till M408-03 arrived so I sat down at the old B&O depot to get off my feet for a bit. While I was there CSX C782 would run by on main-2 and stop somewhere in the yard, presumably for a crew change and/or to wait for the line to clear. Then after a half hour of waiting, at 4pm M408-03 would arrive at Brunswick with SD60M #8768 dead in tow and would stop for a bit to work the yard before continuing Westbound to Cumberland. While M408-03 was stopped, CSX M370-03 ran by on main-2 with a pair of UP AC4400CWMs trailing going Eastbound. After both trains clear, G099 makes his way into the yard with YN2 CW44AH #378 leading. After that the line would be quiet for about three hours when after 7pm M369-04 clears Brunswick with a pair of freshly repainted units on the head end. Then about a half hour of more waiting, CSX E781 clears Brunswick with YN2 CW44AH #506 trailing third with over 800 axles and a long train. From listening to a scanner app on my phone, I would receive word that M415-05 would be dropping off more locomotives for the Brunswick deadline, and that M412-05 would have a MAC leading, so I decided to hang around for that. About an hour later M412-05 would run by on main-1 with SD70AC #4561 leading. And then after waiting another hour, CSX M415-05 would finally arrive at Brunswick with SD70AC #4531 leading, and SD40-2 #8254 trailing with CM40-8 #7821, CW40-8s #7891 and #7917, SD50-3 #8568, and lastly SD40-2 #8446 for the Brunswick Deadline. This ended up being a packed day full of really cool catches and I look forward to the fall for what else I can catch on the high iron. Thanks for watching. Also special thanks again to @Rai‪@RailroadScientist8768‬ the info on M408-03 and the CSX Brunswick Deadline info. Be sure to check his channel out and maybe give him a sub. #train ,#railroad ,#railfanning #brunswickmd, #rfp, #train,#railroad,#railfanning,#commuterline,#csxt,#csxtransportation,#csxrailroad,#Floridian,,#heritageunit,#heritageunits,#amtrak Video chapters: 00:00 Beginning 00:10 CSX E410 with #1836 leading solo 04:20 my shots from the Brunswick deadline 04:45 Amtrak #41 with a phase VII P42DC leading 05:59 CSX M406-04 with SD70AC #4717 leading (now operates as T010) 07:47 CSX I135-05 clears Brunswick with double mid DPUs 08:49 CSX I135-05 double DPUs including a double digit CW44AC second 9:50 End of CSX I135-05 10:43 CSX C782 stopping at Brunswick 11:21 CSX C782 mid DPUs 13:03 CSX M408-03 with SD60M #8768 dead in tow heading to be scrapped. 14:32 CSX M408-03 mid DPU 16:22 CSX M370-03 with UP power trailing 18:31 BCRail cars on CSX M408-03 19:02 CSX G099 arriving at Brunswick with YN2 CW44AH #378 leading 20:57 CSX M369-04 with a pair of fresh locomotives on the head end 21:47 CSX M369-04 mid DPU 22:40 CSX E781 with YN2 CW44AH #506 trailing third 24:14 CSX M412-05 with a rebuilt MAC leading 25:06 CSX M415-05 with EMD power and locomotives for the Brunswick deadline 29:34 End of video!
