Lakegala Rama Ravana Event (ලකේගල රාම රාවණා වත) - Sri Lanka

According to Ramayana it was king Ravana who ruled Lankapura (said to be located in South-East of Sri Lanka, now devoured by sea) who confronted king Rama of India & there are many such places in Sri Lanka bearing the Rama-Seetha & Hanuman names which is now called the Ramayana Trail. King Ravana traveled in air by his Dandu Monara Yantra (Great Peacock Aircraft) & was using Lakegala in present Meemure as a landmark for his air travel.
