REISSUE: "Fame" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Grace Jones This was Grace Jones' first LP and probably the most forgettable for most - I don't see why. It was understandable that disco music was "dramatic" and this LP uses all of the proper phrases! Grace pushes everything she has to be on stage throughout this entire set. "Fame" has always been one of the hard-core classics here. This mix uses a few "star samples" and keeps moving with those wonderful congas by Larry Washington. Where would disco be without those bongos, as well as Grace?
