EP: 680 l GMADA Scam: ED May Arrest Senior IAS Officers Ahead of 2027 Elections l Bhagwant Mann

ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ KAP Sinha ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ GMADA ਦੀ 11 ਮੈਂਬਰੀ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਵਲੋਂ Remigate ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਰੀਬ 50 ਕਰੋੜ ਦਾ ਨਾਜਾਇਜ਼ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ 'ਚ ਨਵਾਂ ਮੋੜ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਵਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਵੱਡੇ ਅਫਸਰ ਨੇ ED ਨੂੰ ਬਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਲਾਟ ਬਾਰੇ feasibility ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਉਪਰਲੇ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਬਾਅ ਹੇਠ ਆ ਕੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ED ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੋ ਵੱਡੇ IAS ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। -------- A new turn has emerged in the case involving the 11-member authority of GMADA, headed by Chief Secretary KAP Sinha, conferring an illegal benefit of around ₹50 crore to the Remigate Builders company. A senior officer in the engineering wing told the ED (Enforcement Directorate) that he submitted a faulty feasibility report for the auctioned 1.13-acre plot under pressure from higher officials.
