My Nuts Are LOOSE - Jeep Rod Build

Today’s build is something a little different… we’re taking a subscriber-sent Matchbox Jeep and turning it into a rough, low-slung flat rod inspired by the legendary “Loose Nuts” Jeep from Roadkill. This one needed some serious work—stripping it down, shaving off all the extra details, filling gaps, and building a custom base from scratch just to get the stance right. We even had to make our own axles to get those wide wheels to fit. From there it was all about character… rough paint, mismatched panels, crusty stars, and just enough chaos to make it feel like it’s lived a hard life out in the wild. Not everything went perfectly (wouldn’t be a Loose Nuts build if it did), but that’s part of what makes this one fun. Let me know what you think—did we do it justice?
