The Mineral Area Cardinals defeated the Three Rivers Raiders 75-66 in the Region 16 Championship Game on Saturday, March 7, 2026, inside the Bob Sechrest Fieldhouse (Park Hills, Missouri). #3 Terron Garrett went 3-5 from beyond the arc and led Mineral area with 21 points. #1 Maki Joyner scored 18 points on an efficient 6-8 from the field. #12 Nazir Allen scored 12 points and pulled down 5 rebounds. #2 Matt Hampton stuffed the stat sheet with 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assist. Hampton was named the Region 16 Player of the Year following the contest. #23 Tristin Fleming scored 11 points in 17 minutes for the Raiders. #5 Antonio Williams nearly had a double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds on the night.
