Spring Step-Over | Table Mountain | Cape Town

Spring Step-Over is a remarkable D grade scramble on Spring Buttress, which forms part of the Twelve Apostles on Table Mountain. The scramble involves a series of traverses varying between B and C grade. The crux comes at the step-over pitch which is graded D. On this hike we added the Wood-Spring traverse which has one C/D grade traverse and takes one onto Woody Ravine from where we then hiked down.
